Senior Sales Manager required for recently refurbished, high end, large Events Venue in Manchester, salary of £28,000-30,000 per annum, with possible bonus incentives.
Our client is a well-established Manchester Events Venue with a strong reputation in the weddings sector. After a major refurbishment, the venue is now looking to take on it’s first Senior Sales Manager to establish a strong corporate business portfolio and enhance the reputation of the venue even further. This is a large event space that will be expected to consistently do numbers in excess of 500 people per event, for conferences, exhibitions and banquets.
It is crucial that the successful candidate can hit the ground running, with the venue already in full use and fully refurbished to an excellent standard. There are clearly defined sales targets and objectives to be achieved, and to do so, you will be given the support and backing of the senior management and owners. You will have the opportunity to build your sales team around you as you continue to grow the business. This is not an office-based position, and you will be expected to be focused and single minded in your drive and ambition to make this venue the most sought after in the North West.
You will be a highly experienced Sales Manager with at least 2-3 years of experience, and a contact list of potential clients that will allow you to make an immediate impact. It goes without saying that your communication skills are second to none, and you will have ‘X’ factor when it comes to making a positive impression on potential clients. You will be highly organised and be extremely adept at working on your own for long periods, but also liaising with the operations team to ensure all client expectations are exceeded.
There is a very competitive salary package of £28,000-30,000 per annum, dependent on experience, with the possibility of a performance related bonus provided that clear and defined sales targets are achieved and exceeded. This is a progressive company, and the success of the business will without question enhance your own reputation in this highly competitive sector. As this is effectively a new role, you will also have an opportunity to build your team around you to help achieve your goals.
In accordance and compliance with the "Asylum and Immigration Act 1996" all applicants applying for the above position will be required to provide evidence of their eligibility to live and work in the United Kingdom. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept applications from anyone not living in the U.K.
