Head Chef, £30,000 - £32,000, Large Branded Hotel, Manchester
Head Chef wanted for this all fresh large branded Hotel located in Manchester City Centre. You will be expected to work closely with the General Manager and Management team to ensure the smooth running of the food offering for the Hotel including the restaurant, room service and conference and banqueting. Great opportunity for a Head Chef or Strong Sous Chef to make a difference in Manchester and develop the Head Chef role.
As the Head Chef, you'll be responsible for the smooth running of the Hotel kitchen. Your key targets will include: food costs, food revenue, HACCP, food safety audits to company and statutory standards, EHO, guest satisfaction, employee engagement training and development of the team. It is essential to provide the highest food quality consistent with costs & profit margins to achieve guest satisfaction and ensure that the whole kitchen team can perform to these targets consistently.
Previous experience within hotels as Head Chef or strong Sous Chef is ESSENTIAL. The successful candidate will have the ability to prepare foods to a high standard, good man management skills, hard-working and will have good communication skills. A proven track record, strong development, career driven with fresh ideas will express drive, success and passion for the position. Experience in a conference and event led environment would be a benefit.
