Sous Chef, £23,000 - £24,000 plus strong tip share! Local independent Restaurant, Saddleworth.

 

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Sous Chef to join a fresh food orientated, popular local restaurant based on the outskirts of Oldham. With a fresh, quality driven menu and recently refurbished to a high standard the restaurant is now looking for a talented Sous Chef to come on board and assist the Head Chef in developing the menu and leading the strong kitchen brigade.

 

The Role:

Your role will be to assist the Head Chef in the day to day running of the kitchen from having a key role in menu development to being responsible for training and improving the vibrant kitchen team. You will be required to work across all areas of the kitchen to a high standard and support the management team. This is a great opportunity for a driven and ambitious Chef looking to make their mark on an already successful business and help to take it to the next level.

 

Experience:

Excellent team management skills as well as experience across all areas of kitchen is essential. Knowledge of health and safety procedures and all kitchen paperwork is a must as well as strong experience working in a fast paced, fresh food kitchen. A history of working with Italian cuisine would also be a desirable.

 

What you will receive:

- A starting salary of between £23,000 and £24,000

- Strong tip share of around £3000 per annum.

- Freedom to get involved in menu development and implement your ideas.
