Job Description

Sous Chef £24,000 - £26,000 plus tip share, luxury Hotel & Spa with 1 Rosette Restaurant, Ambleside. 

Sous Chef wanted for this independent Hotel with 1 Rosette Restaurant & Grill and numerous conference and event rooms. As Sous Chef you will work in all areas of the 1 Rosette kitchen and be expected to input into new menu ideas. Excellent company to work for with a relaxed and professional feel. 

As Sous Chef you will be working in a vibrant kitchen team, working in various kitchen area's and sections. Producing a vast array of different foods and cuisines. You will be responsible for running the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef and be expected to be able to lead and push the team further. You will be required to have input into menus, paperwork and training. Many opportunities to learn and develop skills, gaining invaluable experience leading a large kitchen brigade. Excellent work environment with emphasis placed on training, development, team work and job satisfaction. 

Candidates with a Rosette background would be beneficial but is not essential however background in a fresh food environment is essential. Catering qualifications and previous experience within a similar establishment is preferred. A commitment and passion for food is certainly required 

Tip share, meals on duty, Free Parking provided plus company incentives are included with this position.
